WW - Benrus Type II Class A, Mil-W-50717, circa Aug 1976, US issued dive watch, automatic, 42mm x 47mm to lug tips, 19.5mm wire lug width, original stainless steel unibody case with bi-directional luminous Bakelite dive bezel, black nylon one piece strap, original black dial with white painted Arabic numerals and luminous painted indices, 17J, s#1642, triple signed. A classic among military watch collectors, this is a design that has aged well and has a great size and fun history. Don't let this excellent example swim away.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide to steelwork, very light scratches to plates; nearly flawless dial; nearly mint hands; unpolished case shows very little wear, several light dings on sides and lugs as well as light pitting between top lugs; original crown shows very little wear, good threads; good plastic crystal.
